DA Timbers are an operation that supply everything needed in the construction of buildings. As well as the necessary timber products we can supply all the plumbing requisites from the piping and fittings to the latest bathroom furniture, kitchen sinks, mixers and taps to the paint and tools needed to do the job. D & A Timbers are an operation of Iliad Africa (Pty) Ltd with branches in Pinetown and Shelly Beach. We have a new branch opening in 2010 in Ballito Bay. This ensures our customers the peace of mind knowing that they are dealing with a company of substance.
D & A Timbers manufacture hardwood and softwood timber mouldings, strip flooring, ceiling boards, decking and MDF mouldings, Besides providing a comprehensive range of timber products, D & A provide onsite facilities for the treating of timber in CCA and organic solvent preservatives.
A major part of our service to the people of KZN is the provision of roof trusses manufactured using Mitek designed systems.
We are members of the Institute for Timber Construction, The Master Builders Association and the South African Wood Preservers Association. In addition to this we are registered with SATAS to structurally grade and chemically preserve timber and to mark it as such.
